- No date. The Steam store still reads “To be announced”. The studio has stated a 2026 window.
- Is it free?
- Yes, free to play on Steam and the Epic Games Store, PC only.
- Is there a playtest?
- One has been announced but is not open. Sign-up information is being handled through the official Discord.
- Is it on PlayStation or Xbox?
- No console version has been announced. PC only so far.
- How many players per squad?
- 3.
- What classes are there?
- Three revealed: Sledge (shield frontline), Pyro (gas and fire), Phantom (stealth). The studio has implied more will follow.
- What is The Vertex?
- The alien artifact that acts as the main objective of a run. Squads fight over it at the contested final extraction.
- How many maps are there?
- One revealed: Boreas Isle. No others have been shown.
- Is it related to the Rules of Engagement TV series or film?
- No. They share a name and nothing else. Grey State Studio's game is a 2026 PC extraction shooter.
