Release date: what is confirmed and what is not

Short answer: there is no release date. The Steam store still reads “To be announced”. Anyone giving you a specific day is guessing.

Why the 2026 figure keeps appearing

Grey State Studio said “2026” in its announcement materials, and press coverage has repeated that ever since. A year is not a date. Until the Steam store field changes from “To be announced” to a real day, the honest answer is that nobody outside the studio knows.

What would actually signal a date

1. The Steam store release-date field changing from “To be announced”.
2. An alpha or beta playtest opening — extraction shooters have almost always run a public test before launch, and the studio has already said playtest information will go out through Discord.
3. A dated trailer. The most recent gameplay trailer landed on 30 July 2026 and carried no date.
4. System requirements appearing on the store page. This one has already happened — see below.

Timeline of what has actually happened

15 Oct 2025	Game announced with a reveal trailer.
30 Jul 2026	PvE gameplay trailer added to the Steam store. No date attached.
11 Aug 2026	Minimum & recommended system requirements spotted live on the Steam store page.
2026-08-25	Rechecked: Steam release date still “To be announced”, no new store announcement since the July trailer. Steam followers up to 52,630 (#38 most wishlisted on Steam) — interest is still climbing, so silence here is not a dead project.
